This doesn't stop the hot air escaping up the vents and into the ducts. It's much more effective to seal it up at ceiling level.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>The 'Heat Saver' vent covers are not insulative. They only stop the draughts. If you want to insulate you have to stuff some insulation up inside the vent (either by removing the louvers or the vent completly).
